Diary and letters, 1911.

A carbon copy of a typescript transcript of a diary kept by Wright during the summer of 1911, together with copies of a few letters by Wright. The diary and letters concern a field trip made by Wright, then a Harvard undergraduate, along the east coast (from the Altamaha River in Georgia to Nantucket, Mass.) while serving as assistant on the Shaler Memorial Expedition under the leadership of Professor Douglas W. Johnson. The expedition was part of a larger comparative study of coastal formation and processes.
